1. Test your skills on a mogul field in Scheffau. If you want to give your legs a workout there is nothing better that gracefully (for erratically) skiing down a mogul field. Keep your upper body straight and give your legs a workout.
2. Continually improving and very effective. The snow canon system through the SkiWelt is fantastic. Used to provide a base level for the skiers so that when the fluffy white stuff falls it stays. Eighty percent of the pistes can be covered in 70 hours as long as the temperature is around freezing level.
3. The train is a landmark of Ellmau and happily takes skiers and snowboards from the valley to the top at Hartkaiser throughout the winter season. Sadly though, its days are numbered. Soon there will be a gondala service here instead.
4. The sun setting over frozen trees on Aualm piste. This day had great conditions with packed snow on the piste with some poweder on the edges.
