1. Situated at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. In the centre of the golf course one can see this lovely fountain. Looks especially nice at sunset.
2. The Almabetrieb. At the end of the long summer in the mountains. The farmers bring down their cows and rejoice their hopefully accident free time on the alpine pastures. It is quite a spectacular event as upto 200 cows can be heard making their way down the mountain.
3. Each village has its fair share of events. Some with a religious background, others an agriculural slant. Expect loud brass band music and plenty of opportunities to click your camera button.
4. The traditional clothing is beautiful. Often handmade with patterns that reflect the area and family. Not dissimilar to the Scottish tartan. Expectly modelled by my mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
