- In spring time and also in the autumn the cows are let out as often as possible. You don't get a more typical Austrian view that diary cows and large mountains in the background.
- This is Barbara. She is helping Martin to milk the cows, as well as a thousand other jobs at exactly the same time. The cows are locked in their holders, waiting to be milked. Barbara is just checking who is next up for the milk parlour.
- Eventhoug the isn't much time in the day. The Stoeckl family used to take the cows to competitions. Dotted around the farm are a number of similar prizes showing how good their cows are.
- Looks like the fresh grass has arrived. The cows enjoy a healthy amount of grass before they are about to be milked.
- During the summer months the majority of our cows are at the top of the mountains over towards Kitzbuehel. We have a couple of mountain huts over there. The lower hut is only used for a two to three weeks a year. The upper hut at 1620 metres is used all summer. The cows tend to sleep out at night. They are then herdedi in the morning milked and relax inside, out of the heat before being milked in the evening.
